The NYS Historic Newspapers project provides free online access to a wide range of newspapers chosen to reflect New York’s unique history.
Digital Borrowing
Check out up to 10 items at a time for up to three weeks. If there is no waiting list, you can renew an item once. You may place requests on items and have them automatically checked out to you when they become available. There are no late fees for ebooks and digital audiobooks. You can browse and borrow the UHLS’s large collection of digital materials on your mobile device.
Resume Builder
Cypress Resume is an online resume and cover letter builder. The platform enables users to create basic professional looking resumes in three steps, and it also automates simple cover letters and reference sheets.
All resumes and cover letters created with Cypress are downloadable into MS Word. Upper Hudson Library System is providing Cypress Resume to member libraries like ours through NYS Coordinated Outreach Services funds.

NOVELny is an online library available to every New Yorker, free of charge. It also features resources for entrepreneurship, legal forms, and test prep among others. Some of the resources include Gale Academic OneFile and Britannica Online.
